When choosing a topic, pick something that is interesting and will appeal to your target audience. Your topic should be inherently appealing and you should present it creatively. Above all, make sure that you, yourself, are interested in the topic. It is hard to write good prose about something about which you are not passionate. Therefore, it is best to stick to familiar topics. That way, you'll enjoy the work you put into creating content.

Make sure you are both mentally and emotionally ready to start writing an eBook. It would be easier to write if you have enough motivation in mind. Do adequate research. Make sure that you prepare all your resources, arguments, data, facts and information before you start writing. Make sure that you gather enough to make your eBook credible and accurate.

Know your target audience. Your writing style and the words you choose should suit your target market. Keep everything simple and easy to understand. Be mindful about your grammar and spelling. You have to come up with a professional-looking eBook. Even just a few typographic errors would make your eBook look amateurish and unprofessional.

Make your eBook as appealing and useful to the reader as possible. Remind yourself why consumers want your eBook and why they should pick it, and from there go forward.
