1- How much does Great Plains cost?
The only answer is that this depends on many criteria such as:

> The Software Price which depends on the modules you will need;
> Great Plains Annual Support Plan (18% or 25% of the total Software Price);
> Actual Implementation, possible customization and Data Migration;
> Great Plains Training (which depends on the knowledge and quantity of users).

If you double the Software Price (User Licenses, Modules and Support Plan) you will get a rough picture of the total price. But again, this is just a ballpark and it all depends on your specific requirements.

2- What is the main difference between MS Dynamics Great Plains Standard and MS Dynamics Great Plains Professional?

Standard: up to 10 simultaneous users and 500 payroll employees for each defined company.

Professional: unlimited users, additional user-level security options, consolidation tools, automatic purchase order generation, and more reporting/analysis options. In addition, Professional Edition includes additional manufacturing and field service modules.

3- Our company is running a small Accounting System and due to Business growth and expansion we are willing to switch and convert our data to Great Plains. Is this feasible?

This is definitely possible. There are many ERP Systems which can be switched to Microsoft Great Plains. If necessary we can analyze your current system and find out if it would be a feasible Migration Project.

4- We would like to integrate MS CRM to MS Great Plains. Are there available tools and is this doable?

It is doable and there are several tools available. However, take note that if Great Plains is customized, it will definitely be more complicated to do the integration.

5- What Database systems are compatible with MS Great Plains?

SQL Server and MSDE are compatible with Great Plains version 8.0 and newer versions. Besides SQL and MSDE all older versions of Great Plains Standard may run under CTree and/or Pervasive SQL (formerly called Btrieve) which makes Migration necessary in case you want to upgrade to version 9.0.
